Today, for the very first time in our history, we are very proud to announce that, thanks to funding from the Sub-Regional Rough Sleeping Prevention and Recovery Grant, our night shelter doors are now going to be open for people experiencing homeless EVERY SINGLE MONTH OF THE YEAR. The new Spring/Summer shelter joins our already established Winter Night Shelter.
This means that between:
April – October (spring/summer season)and 
October – April (autumn/winter season) those in need of overnight safety, shelter and advocacy will have access to our 14 single occupancy rooms and all the support and care that they deserve to begin breaking their cycle of homelessness.
We’ve recruited an additional caseworker to make sure we can support every client on their journey to long term, stable accommodation as swiftly as possible and an extra Operations Coordinator to help with the new work load and we look forward to introducing you to them in the very near future. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to play our part in reaching the government’s ambitious goal of halving the number of people rough sleeping in this parliament.
